| "Why can't i stare at you? I can't help looking at my own heart."
&
"Baby, I wish nothing more than to have you right here right now right in my arms. I want to wake up to you."
&
"All i ask is that you just know that i never lie, and i want you forever."
&
"I wish there were words to tell you how much i care about you. I wish i could tell you, but really all i can do is show you. & that will take a lifetime...and even a lifetime would never be enough. You're the first person who actually cared about me. It would take a force like forever to steal you away from me."
& my very very favorite :) ::
"You say you're not perfect, and maybe you're right, but i know one thing for certain and that's that you're perfect for me. You could stop a heart. I know you make mine skip a beat everytime we touch. When we kiss...man when i kiss you nothing exists but you and me. When I held you tight, I held my world in my arms. You have me. More than anyone, you have me."
--- all from Adam.
I know i usually dont share stuff like this, and i know i've been playing the "joey card" here for a while, but i can't resist Adam. I really can't. I mean, could you? He's really a wonderful guy. I know i've never talked about him before, so it seems to random, but it's not. It's kind of one of those guys i always knew i'd end up with...& no, he's not a super stud of a guy, but he has the most beautiful heart. He loves his family, he loves his friends, and most of all he loves his God, which makes him even more unbelievable.
...and with a boy who can use words the way that he does...how do you not adore them?
...more stories about tonight later on, but i'm about to pass out at the moment....

| & i dont know why.
No, I don't think I will kiss you,
although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You
should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how. -Gone With The Wind

| I feel somewhat bad -- i havent been blogging like i used to and i've gotten a few messages and all asking what's wrong. Nothing's really wrong, i just havent been "feeling it." Thats all, really :) But no worries, i have actually missed writing so maybe i'll stick around for a while this time :)
Yes, dinner with "the boy"...who's name is Joey, so lets just call him by his name, shall we? So dinner with Joey went really well. My mother loves him, so that's great since she tends to not like most of the guys I go out with. It cracked me up though cause one of the first things my mom did when she met him was look at him and ask -- "do you surf?" Haha -- this is because being from florida, he really does have blonde-ish brown longer hair, tall, athletic looking, with naturally redish skin that looks like hes been in the sun. & for the record, yes, he does surf. But I think my whole point in sayin all of this is to respond to the comment I got that said "maybe you and him will be able to go on a date..." &&& VOILA. I am stoked about Saturday!!! He's coming down to visit (he lives two hours away) and we're gonna have a picnic at the water falls and then do random stuff and then get dinner and go see a play (or...rather these are my plans, i dunno what he'll wanna do...so they're likely to change) For a while we didnt think he'd be able to come because he's in the process of buying a condo, and the closing was scheduled for saturday, but everything worked out :D YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aside from Joey, yesterday I experienced an event like I will never forget. I believe you'll probably find this entertaining as well :D I'm sitting in my local Barnes & Nobles Bookstore reading, and a man sits down, and then about ten minutes later a woman I would guess was about fifty sat down next to him and across from me (in a square-like fashion). All of the sudden we hear "chirp chirp! chirp chirp!" ...the sound that could only come from a live bird. Everyone but the woman looks up, looks around, assumes they imagined it and goes back to their reading. Then again we hear "chirp chirp!!!!!!!!" and the woman picks up her purse, opens it, puts her face down towards it and goes "SHUT UP!" and she puts the purse back down. It then hit all of us...THIS WOMAN HAS A LIVE BIRD IN HER PURSE!!!!!!!! So this same series of events goes on for about twenty minute. About twenty minutes down the road, the bird has been quiet for a little while, and the man looks up and calmly says "that bird you got there has been quiet for about five minutes now. i sure hope it ain't dead." HAHA. The woman just kind of looked at him, got up and left. It really was amazing...probably a lot funnier in person, but wow...it's STILL hilarious to me.
Anyways, other than that I really havent been up to too incredibly much. Just going to the gym to work out, writing, and singing, recording, blah blah. I have senior pictures to take tonight at 6. That'll either go well or...not...we'll just have to see. :) & with that i'm off to shower :D
I've found almost everything ever written about love to be true. Shakespeare said "Journeys end in lovers meeting." What an extraordinary thought. Personally, I have not experienced anything remotely close to that, but I am more than willing to believe Shakespeare had. I suppose I think about love more than anyone really should. I am constantly amazed by its sheer power to alter and define our lives. It was Shakespeare who also said "Love is blind." Now that is something I know to be true. For some quite inexplicably, love fades; for others love is simply lost. But then of course love can also be found, even if just for the night. And then, there's another kind of love: the cruelest kind. The one that almost kills its victims. Its called unrequited love. Of that I am an expert. Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? We are the victims of the one sided affair. We are the cursed of the loved ones. We are the unloved ones, the walking wounded.

| So my mom & I went to atlanta today and we had dinner with "the boy." yeah...we're not together...i dont even know if he likes me...but still. I was glad that she approved. She now describes him as "the surfer boy." which is amusing. he's not really a surfer boy...he just..looks like one. He's actually a screamer in a metal band. He's just from florida, so he has long blonde hair and looks naturally sunburned. That's all. *sigh* what a sweetheart. Today wasnt so bad after all, i guess.
